Can't make Sportsdevil work
Good afternoon,

I have been trying to make Sportsdevil work on my Kodi.

In the beggining I tought it could have been a problem from the addon itself but I tried alternative addons to watch sports such as Pro Sports and the problem still remains.

It has been retrieving the following messages:

"Error running Sportsdevil" for Sportsdevil or

"Pro Sport error check the log for more information" for Pro Sport

Here is the log after trying once for each addon.

I have the latest version of each add on. Aditionally I have Kodi v 16.1.

Is there a way you can help?

Thank's in advance.

This seems to be a problem with the ã character on your path. Try installing Kodi (with all its addons) in the root of your system C:\

This might be happening because Python can't correctly handle the character, as this error message hints:

17:41:44 T:6380   DEBUG: [SportsDevil] Error running SportsDevil. Reason:'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\xe3' in position 11: ordinal not in range(128)

Try that, or somehow getting rid of the special character in your path file, as it is causing problems to the Python interpreter (or so it seems). Please let us know how it goes!

I renamed the uername folder taking out the ã caracter.

This totally solved my issue!

Thank you very much.

Best Regards,
Hello, glad to see it worked!
