How to Make Ubuntu Beep After Booting and shutdown...

Hi Guys,
can i know how to make ubuntu beep after startup and shutdown like nas4free example.....

Find a beep.wav file, and play it using alsa from commandline. Then run this script upon startup and shutdown.

i know this all but where is the shutdown script and how to edit that anand....

Right now i am busy so just pointing you where to look for. But do a search on running scripts on boot/startup or shutdown on ubuntu. You could also use crontab and make scripts run on boot and shutdown.
